[] How to Fix USB Error Code 43 Once for all.

Does anyone know how to fix this problem with a USB device, I have tried every method I can find online. This all started when I updated my computer via windows update. I am running Windows 10 64 bit. I have even re-formatted and cleaned my hard drive and re-installed Windows 10 64 bit, I have cleared my CMOS and taken out the battery to no avail. The only devices I have installed are a mouse and keyboard. I have disconnected these devices and it still does this when these devices are disconnected.

So I have re-installed Windows 10 since I downloaded that update from Microsoft so I do not have any history on the update that I think is in question. And a restore point will only take me back to when I re-installed Windows.

As far as drivers I have updated drivers from all the manufactures of the components I have in this computer, this is a “homebuilt” computer that I built myself. However I do have WinZip driver updater that has updated my drivers but the problem still persists.

So I am still at odds of how to fix the issue. What I sometimes do for drivers that can’t be found otherwise is to install DriverMax for it’s two free drivers per day – they have the largest database of drivers, work solely from the Hardware ID so are highly accurate, and set a System Restore point before each one so there is always ability to go back. You do not need to buy it, just find the driver for missing device, then uninstall it.

It saves time tracing the HID and then tracking down the drivers from that. Download here: DriverMax. It updated my drivers but did not fix the USB issue. Back to square one, it is the USB. Code Well I called Asrock tech support and the tech said they do not have a driver for the USB controller and that the motherboard I have does not support the latest version of Windows 10, he did tell me to go to a website Etron and download driver EJa so I did that but still no fix.

I am going to call Microsoft and ask them about this. I will let you know what I find out from them. I haven’t had any reoccurence of the issue since. Hopefully that will help. Looks like a USB 3 controller driver. Does your motherboard model have a separate USB3 driver available for download?

If your keyboard and mouse are USB, first program the power button to effect the needed restart after Rolling back or uninstalling the driver.

Start with Step 4 to turn off Startup freeloaders which can conflict and cause issues, then Step 7 to check for infection the most thorough way, then step 10 to check for damaged System Files, and also Step 16 to test a new Local Admin account. Then continue with the other steps to go over your install most thoroughly. This reinstalls Windows while keeping files, programs and most settings in place, and is also the most stable method to advance to the latest version.
