I am just the opposite; Painter is my first language. I find Painter brushes so much easier to make that Photoshop. Actually both programs are fairly complex when making brushes. Thanks for your videos. They helped a lot. I still need to practice with brushes as I forget everything I learned in your class. I think I need to do a reference sheet to help me remember.

Coral can revoke all rights at any time to the users rights to this software. So if Coral decides you have to update your copy of your version of Coral Paint to a newer version they can cut you off from using their software.

I was excited to start using this software as it sounded so good The usability is absolutely horrid, not intuitive at all; not even close. On top of that it is riddled with bugs, literally already uncovered a bunch of bugs in the first hour of trying to work with it.

The user manual is laughable, doesn’t even cover half and customers service is incredibly useless The only somewhat good thing about this software is the amount of drawing and painting brushes it comes with out of the box, but then if you want more brushes you actually have to PAY for each additional pack.

Stick with Photoshop. It can do pretty much the same and more. Yes you will have to add drawing and painting brushes but guess what? Most of those are free there are paid brushes but also a lot of free ones. And their customer service is a lot better; they actually have time for you. Sorry I do not work for Photoshop so I do not gain from saying this but boy, Corel Painter is really bad and someone needs to hold them accountable.
